Although Renea Orr, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), has only been with The Pointe a little over 3 months, she has quickly made a place for herself here. With several years worth of experience working in nursing homes, Renea brings with her the knowledge and dedication it takes to be a caregiver. Already impressed Executive Director, Zoe Espitia describes Renea as “…always having a gentle approach, regardless of how her day is going. We can always count on her.”

Born and raised in the local area, Renea comes from a family with a long CNA background; her mother, aunt and sister are all CNAs. Renea says. “I feel like I’m walking in my destiny when I’m helping others.” Upon arriving at The Pointe, she was immediately struck by the cleanliness and upkeep as well as the friendly nature of the staff and residents, she added, “I knew I wanted to work here.” 

In her free time, Renea loves spending time with her daughter, reading and watching movies. It is easy to see that family is an important part of Renea’s life. She brings that attitude to work with her everyday. “I enjoy helping the residents and I like to treat them like they are part up of my family. It gives me joy to see them smile and hear them say, ‘Renea, I’m glad you are here.’” It is safe to say that we all feel the same, “We’re glad you are here Renea!”
