Diane Rios is a Lead CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) here at The Pointe and has been with us for 7 years. CNA's are responsible for helping the residents with their daily activities of life, such bathing, toileting, dressing, and medication reminders. As a Lead CNA, Diane is also responsible for the training of newly hired CNAs and the scheduling of the entire CNA staff.  Diane credits the staff with making her job not only enjoyable, but also easier. "Everyone who works here is a great team player...I know I can count on my coworkers", she explained.
    

Diane was born and raised in Harvey, IL, where she currently lives with her 4 children and 1 grandchild. She, herself, is the youngest of 8 children and and enjoys nothing more than spending time with her own.  Somehow, between her time spent at The Pointe and taking care of her children, Diane finds the time to act as Assistant Coach of the Harvey Drill team and travels with the squad during competions.  She is also Vice President of the P.T.A. for School District 152. 
    

It is evident by her career choice as well as her activities outside of work, that Diane loves people and loves caring for them.  "The residents make me so happy. I love coming to work everyday and talking with them and helping them with whatever they may need. I feel like I have two families."
