Beverly Horbaczewski – Front Desk/Receptionist

Whether you have called The Pointe or visited in person, you have probably met Beverly. She has been the front desk receptionist for 5 and half years. “Beverly has a strong balance of professionalism and compassion, which makes for a wonderful receptionist in this setting.” says Director of Operations, Nancy McCaffrey. “As the first person that many come in contact with, be they family members, inquiries or professionals, it is important to make a great first impression and she does.”


Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, Beverly was close to her two her sisters and brother, two of whom now live in Wisconsin. She and her husband, who passed away several years ago, later moved to Oak Forest and raised their 2 sons. When the boys started school, Beverly reentered the work force and worked as a receptionist for a doctor’s office. In July of 2006, she was hired by The Pointe and has been very happy here. “I enjoy working with seniors and being able to make their lives enjoyable.” says Beverly. “Everyone is respectful and appreciative of the work we do. It’s a really nice environment.”


In her free time, Beverly enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters, Cadence and Corah. Once a year, they all meet for their annual family camping trip which she always looks forward to.
