The Pointe at Kilpatrick continues its "Pampering Program" into 2011.  This week, Massage Therapist, Carol Reach, performed shoulder massages to those residents who were looking for a little relaxation and special treatment.  Under dim lighting in the community room, the tables were set with flameless candles and flowers with relaxing music being played.  As the residents waited for their massage, they were served herbal tea. 

At least once a month, an evening is set aside for pampering. From hand massages and sugar scrubs to the very popular shoulder massage. Coming up in February, will be evening facials.  Many of the residents have already expressed interest and are recruiting their friends for a "girls night".  Not to be left out, several of the male residents have been attending the massages as well. Phyllis is one resident who regularly attends the "Pampering" events.  She said "It's just a wonderful way to end your day."
