Crestwood, IL. - The Pointe at Kilpatrick, 14230 S. Kilpatrick. On Wednesday, August 25th, Janet Gilleland and her company Accent on History, gave a performance on the history of Ellis Island. Through dramatic narrative and factual descriptions, Janet and her company, dressed in appropriate period clothing, performed there show "Coming to America". The group performs several programs on historical places and figures. Not only was the peformance entertaining, but brought back memories for several residents in the audience which prompted their own story telling.
