Ellen Lollini.  Ellen is Corporate Marketing Associate at The Pointe.  She also manages the financial assistance programs and is the Financial Compliance Director. Many of you may have spoken with her during the required, annual recertification of those participating in these programs. She has been working at The Pointe since the doors opened, 7 years ago and has been with the company a total of 10 years.  Ellen commented that, "I've been fortunate to be surrounded by bright, creative people who bring passion and humor to The Pointe."

Born and raised in Chicago, Ellen studied Business and Marketing at Felician College and has worked in the senior care industry for over 21 years. She now lives in Wheaton, IL with her husband and teenaged son. Ellen likes to collect antiques and read.  She is also a die hard Cubs fan and even follows the Boston Red Sox.  Once baseball season has ended, Ellen concentrates on the holidays and enjoys entertaining friends and family. Christmas is her favorite holiday and for the past several years her husband has played the role of Santa during The Pointe's annual Christmas party.

Though Ellen works primarily with forms and numbers, her dedication to the residents is unequalled. She says "Our residents continue to teach us everyday...to stay positive.  That's how you get to be 80, 90 even 100 years old."  Ellen strongly believes that there is a lot to be learned from the older generations and is often heard saying "My mother was right about everything."
